“Reliance Parts Corporation is pleased to announce the availability of RP847 universal water pump for 300 Series engines. When researching 300 Series water pumps we found that to cover all applications would require over 100 different water pumps.
We have started with the pump that we believe to be the most popular. We have made the housing universal in order that it fit as many applications as possible. Included in the kit is all of the necessary hardware to cap off any openings not needed for your customer’s application.
Attached is a list of water pump part numbers and housing casting numbers that can be serviced with this new universal water pump.
The universal water pump includes the adapter required for applications with a stamped steel pulley. For applications that require a cast iron pulley, the customer must remove the adapter and press on the cast pulley.
Customers should really like the number of applications that can be serviced using this new universal water pump.
